Scientific Analysis

A key service that we provide is the ability to measure scientifically the content, voice and visual (non-verbal aspects of someone’s communication. This allows us and our clients quickly to see how good they are at the various components of their communication.

This service is unique to GPB, there is no other organisation in the world that provides these three analyses.

We take recordings on video and/or sound recorders. For Content and Voice Analysis we only use voice recordings, for Visual Analysis we use videos. Each sample is compared with a relevant reference set of ‘100 of the best in the business’. So for example English-speaking females in the business world are compared with an English-speaking reference group of business women.

The Voice Analysis measures up to eight ‘input’ parameters of: pitch, volume, pace, fluency and articulation. Via a complex set of algorithms that include a measurement of Emotional Index, this then provides us with measurement of six ‘output’ parameters, the ultimate one being a measure of vocal persuasiveness.

The Visual Analysis measures up to eight input parameters such as: Congruence, Facial Expression, Eye contact/Gaze aversion, tells and gestures.Via a further complex set of algorithms that also include a measurement of Emotional Index, this then provides us with measurement of six ‘output’ parameters, the ultimate one being a measure of visual persuasiveness.

The Content Analysis measures up to eight ‘input’ parameters such as: Evidence, Relevance, Structure, Complexity and Tangibility. These again provide us with measurement of six ‘output’ parameters, the ultimate one being a measure of content persuasiveness.
